Our Spark programs are designed for players that have developed strong gross/motor skills and are ready to develop volleyball specific skills. Players in this program have a strong understanding of teamwork, accountability, sportsmanship, and communication. Players will develop a strong foundation for the most important skills such as serving, passing, and setting. We want to ensure that younger players understand simple skills before progressing into more challenging skills. Players will learn the necessary skills such as quick feet, strong passing platform, and overhand serving, to tryout for their junior high or club volleyball team should they choose to. Players will be separated based on their skill level to ensure they are playing with players will similar skills however, they can still be with their favorite friends. Players are beginning to "spark" their fierce fire. The Spark program has an emphasis on skill development and play and is for players in grades third through fifth. There is one skill per week (passing, hitting, serving, setting). At the conclusion of each program, a "Player of the Night" will be selected by the coaches and honored with a fun prize!
